Intern
Eirini Papazoglou is a Cognitive Neuroscience Master’s student at Radboud University and an intern at the MED lab. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where her thesis investigated sex-specific effects in brain plasticity among rats exposed to stress or environmental enrichment. During her internship at Iasis Connect Family, she participated in an intergenerational women’s group. This experience deepened her understanding of the challenges faced by mothers and older women, as well as their diverse perspectives. These experiences helped her recognize a gap in female-focused research, and she now focuses her master’s internship on how the menstrual cycle influences effortful decision-making.
